experience a true mount hike

Very wild and scenic; not much paved and can get quite slippery on downhills... taking tram down could be fun too

This was my first hike of the year and I found it quite challenging. This was mostly my own fault. I was tired when we started and I didn't pack enough food. It took us about 5 hours to complete because we took micro-breaks along the way. I went with my sister. She is in much better shape than me... More

Whistlers is the perfect family hike. Nice easy switchback trails all the way to the tram station make this a an easy hike. If endurance or hiking isn't your strong suit dont worry. Just take your time and catch the cable car down to the parking. Breath taking views on clear days make this a must see. Especially if you... More

I put off climbing up this mountain, looking at it from below it didn't look like much but looks can be deceiving and there is so much more to it than meets the eye. Really beautiful spot! Great views and once on top relatively easy hikes around and about.

Such a fantastic place to visit. We enjoyed the trip to the top of the mountain using the cable car and really enjoyed meeting the locals. Since we were on the first car we saw a few marmots up close - this made our trip even more special.

Did this in Sept. Started at 7am and was up to the top before the first sky tram and before the blanket of clouds had cleared out. It was simply amazing. Continued on along Indian ridge and back to the tram by 3pm and took the tram down. Incredible hike!

Well worth the price of the Tram to the top of Whistler Mountain. Great view of the Jasper township and surrounding mountains. It is very cold and windy up there even in July.

OK for one visit. Bring warm clothing for the wind. The views are great. If you have not been above the tree line, you should go for that alone.

The day we climbed Whistlers the day started overcast and kind of cold. By the time we reached the top it was blue bird and beautiful. The beginning of the hike had lots of switch backs but was doable. The last portion was very steep and a real grind but the views at the top were beautiful. Thankfully the tram... More

Nice mountain to visit by mountaintrain. Seen many chipmunks and some pretty nice birds. Steep climb up to the summit but worth it!
