    UK Sophie is a star
I had an amazing time up the Skytram! Sophie (from London) did an amazing job at explaining all the facts as well as making us laugh! Offering to take photos as I was on my own and putting time in with people and taking photos at the top for me! Thanks again to the team! First time snowshoeing and in Jasper!

    Stunning View surrounded by mountains.
Visited: 31/05/2023. Absolutely breathtaking views of Jasper and the surrounding mountains, the skytram is pretty quick to the top but the views around and below are amazing. Trees look like matchsticks. We both loved being at the top, and even had lunch up there. Would highly recommend a visit here if you are in Jasper.

    Must do when in Jasper
Breathtaking views from the top, the scenery is spectacular plus easy access. Great way to spend an hour or two. For those who want to walk to the mountain peak you can but you need proper ice walking shoes as it’s slippery at times. Well worth the effort.

    The Best Views ever!
The best views from top of the world (or so it seems) We were here when the snow was still on the summit, so hiking was tricky. The views were incredible, even on a semi rainy day. We had lunch at the cafe at the top, and it was tasty. It wasn't terribly busy, so they were very nice about the length of the visit ( the cable car can only accommodate a certain number)

    Spectacular
Traveled the sky tram at 18:00hrs on a Friday and the place was literally deserted. We got straight on our tram and spent approximately 40 mins at the top soaking in the stunning views on this beautiful may evening. It isn’t cheap but in our opinion was well worth it for the spectacular views.

    Freezing wind
Mr. Fynlo operated the tram ride up for us. He did an excellent job in sharing a lot of interesting information about the area! His knowledge of Jasper is admirable. The 1.2 km hike from the tram dock, where there is a Cafe and gift shop with wraparound viewing areas, to the summit look uninteresting as it is barren. The wind was whipping and extremely cold at the time. If you plan on hiking to the summit, layer with warm clothes and have hats and gloves. There is no boardwalk unlike at the top of the Banff Gondola. The view is beautiful. My son identified the island that we walked to in order to see the Pyramid Mountain up-close. It was amazing to see such a long freight train from all the way up!

    Foggy yet memorable!
Crew: 5 stars Restaurant service at the top: 4 stars Overall: Excellent Honest people. Before purchasing the tickets, you have the option to checkout the views from the top. It didn't seem like a money making business to me. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Great view, but book in advance
We booked last minute for the first tram of the day and we’re glad we did. Don’t expect to turn up and get on one, they are packed! What you need to realise is that there are only 2 gondolas on action so the number of people is very restricted. However! The lower number of people means that there aren’t hordes stomping around the mountain! We chose a sunny morning, and as it was mid June there was still snow at the top when we did the walk up to the summit. It was definitely winter clothing weather. The views from the top of Jasper and the surrounding mountains are seriously impressive though. Just be prepared to book in advance and be squeezed into a gondola cheek by jowl with 20 other people.

Even though we purchased tickets online, selecting our times for flights up and back, to avoid standing in line at the event, When we arrived, we were told the QR machine was not working and we had to stand in line anyway to pick up tickets, almost missing our time slot. Then, during our return on the gondola, twice the amount of people that were in our flight up, were crammed into the sky tram gondola. It was so crowded we could hardly breathe. The staff told us they were doing a safety check and one gondola was out of commission so both groups of people went in our gondola. Not only was it uncomfortable, it was also worrisome and four days later, I tested positive for COVID 19. We were left with the opinion that this attraction was disorganized, inefficient, and taking chances. We would never have traveled in a gondola that was so packed with people, had we been told before we were at the top of the mountain.

What a view from the top. You can see up and down the valleys leading into and out of the Jasper town site - north and east towards Edmonton, south to Lake Louise and west towards Kamloops and Prince George. We did find the pricing a touch on the high side at $54.00 each (plus GST) for the round trip ticket to the summit. Fortunately, the weather gods were with us and the temperatures were warm with no wind.

Went up on the first car, it was extremely cloudy (we were aware of the weather and they offered a refund, but had also said visibility was good at the top), so couldn't see much, but that was alright. It is advertised that you get a private guide that will give a presentation on the ride up, the operator didn't speak other than to warn of swaying when we went past a tower. Super windy and freezing once off the car, but still hiked to the false summit, incredible views and had the place nearly to ourselves. Operator on the way down was nice and mentioned they don't do a presentation on the way down like they do on the way up (😑), but was willing to answer questions.

The skytram was ok, however avoid the overpriced cafe at the top, the staff are really not interested, especially one called Harry who took our order which by the way was a couple of drinks and then whoever made them left them on the counter for at least 10 mins, I always give tips but on this occasion I will not. This is a shame really as it has potential but maybe the staff need to retrain in hospitality. Am not recommending the cafe at all. Use at your own peril.

$150 up and down for my family of 3( two small children) $22 for a dozen chicken wings at the restaurant. Gift shop prices so expensive even my 9 year old passed up on the candy. Everything really showing its age and of course you get people from all over the world just completely ignorant to the staff because they got stuck at the top of the mountain when a storm rolled in. Your in the top of a mountain, grow up!! Not the staffs fault YOU chose to ride up. I haven't been to Jasper in about 7 years but it used to be my go to over Banff because the price gouging wasn't nearly as bad....that has changed.

This was a bit of a treat to travel in an old cable car. The view at the top is stunning but expect a hard walk to the summit. If you can, eat in the restaurant, the views are stunning and the food is great, far better than you would expect at the top of a cable car!

The sky tram was very cool and we even had lunch at the restaurant after our hike. Our tram tour guide was from Australia and very knowledgeable. He gave us information about all the mountains surrounding us as we went up to the top. The hike might look easy, but with the altitude change and the 200 m elevation on the hike, it took us a good hour to get to the top. It does get very windy so packing a windproof jacket would definitely be advisable. The best thing to do is take your time to get to the top and just take a break when you think you need it. Our tram operator told us to drink lots of water and take breaks when we need it, and honestly that did help a lot.

Really helpful and friendly staff on the sky tram. But only one real walk at the top which is tough but fairly short, However, it’s quite far out of town and there seems to be no way to reach the tram except by expensive shuttle buses run by tour companies. Also the buses do not run often or in time with when the gondolas actually come down, which can vary depending on weather, meaning you could be stranded in the middle of nowhere for over an hour waiting for the next bus. I would probably go by taxi next time.
