Good for beginners. We took a 1 hour Trail ride through forest on well trained gentle horses. Views from the approximate 700 foot rise overlooking Jasper valley were beautiful. Our guide gave us info on all sorts of facts of the history of the area...More

We went to the stables for dinner as part of our tour. The BBQ was delicious and the information about all the different animals was very interesting.

First of all I want to say that this is not recommended for someone who is intermediate or experience horse rider. Its the most borong experience ever They wont let you ride out of a single line one horse after the other, not even can...More

These are walk rides, as the area is full of stones and mountains, so don't expect to canter. It isn't that kind of riding. We took the 2 hour ride, and 1.5 hours of it were in the rain, and we still loved it. The...More

We had a two hour morning ride to ourselves. Beautiful scenery, solitude in the forest, a deer or two -- just what we expected. Riding was all walking, with some moderate climbs and descents. We have horses of our own, so we did not need...More

We were met by a lady by the name of Taran (I think) in the front office, she wasn't too friendly, kind of off putting, not the best first impression. The horses were slow, and seemed to almost be stiff from being worked so much....More

I saw 6-7 year old ride the horses. The horses walk and do not trot or run. I would think it's pretty safe for small children. You may want to call the stables to ask them about any concerns you may have 😎
