The Gardens is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year. It opened in 1967 as a centennial project. This place is beautiful and is located right in the heart of the city. A great place too find peace and tranquility. hmmmmm.

Having been to Japan on three occasions, the Nikka Yuko Garden is very reminiscent of landscapes in Japan. It is also a very tranquil place to visit.

A lovely, tranquil garden in traditional Japanese style. All green and white vegetation Contours of lush grasses and green trees and shrubs. Small, gently cascading waterfalls with beautiful rock formations. A place to rest the mind and the spirit. So quiet and peaceful.

These gardens are just beautiful. The tour was very interesting and informative, but a little long for us with 3 young children so we ended up exploring the gardens mainly on our own. Would be peaceful place to spend some time on one's own.

My husband and I had a chance to visit Nikki Yuko for their display of Christmas Lights. It was absolutely one of the most beautiful, enchanting and magical places!! We can't wait to return this Christmas to experience them again!!
