Beyond the campground, minuets off #5 hwy lies this gem. Perfectly clean running water washrooms and changerooms off a clean grassy area covered with picnic tables. The parking lot is right between the washroomes and the beach. Small sandy beach. The lake was very cold,...More

Stayed at the PP Campground which we had booked on line through BC Parks website. The site we had selected online reported that the site was flat and plenty wide for our trailer. When we found our site, it required an uphill back-in which proved...More

Stayed ther two times last year, paved road, beach and large dock to fish off of. If you are mobiliy challenged then stay closer to the lake. It is on a slopping hillside that small kids would not be able to bike up the hill....More

Brisk even in the summer. Another beautiful lake and a great place to hike and picnic. Just bring warm clothing.

while it can be busy and loud, we got lucky and had a relatively quiet day, did the entire outer shore line of the lake in about 2 hours, not pushing it. Pretty.

It is also nice to go on a Sunday for a picnic just to get away from the city. Lots of picnic tables and nice picnic area right on the lake. The pets ie dogs have their own area.

We camped here for three days recently. Escaping the smoke from forest fires wafting into Kamloops. The air is crisper and a couple of degrees cooler than Kamloops also which was welcome. Mid July the water was a nice temp to swim and, avoid the...More

We visited whilst we were staying in Kamloops. We didn't realize this lake was located so high in the mountains. It was 35 degrees in Kamloops but only 21 degrees when we got out of the car after the 30 min drive! It was sunny...More

Logan Lake is closer, about 15 minutes away and has a small grocery store. Kamloops has Costco, Save On and Superstore along with Walmart all within 30 minutes or less from Lac Le Jeune.

I know in Kamloops which is close by there is not an over abundance of them in July so I don't think it should be a problem.
