This is a really easy self-guided tour where you follow the painted footprints around town. There are signs at each totem pole with information and stories. You can spend as much or as little time walking the tour as you like.

Sorry. While I applaud this effort, and Duncan is a very pleasant small city worth a visit, the totem poles aren't worth planning your vacation around or going out of your way to visit. Most are short (10' tall or so), although some are very...More

Loved our stroll through Duncan, following the path of the totem poles. They are magnificent and I loved the details about the carvers and the stories behind the animals chosen for the poles.

We stopped in Duncan to explore the totem poles and wasn't disappointed. There are yellow footprints to follow around the town, each one had a plaque showing who made each one and what they meant. The walk also allows you to view the town

If you want to spend a day learning about totem polls and get some exercise this is a fun time. The foot prints make it easy to follow and is great for a family adventure.

There are yellow footprints painted on the ground for people to follow, and detailed descriptions of each totem pole in front of each. I did not see a printed brochure of the route but we didn't feel it was needed. I hope... More
