I always struggle with wild life parks. It sometimes feels like a zoo the way we ogle at the animals in their “natural” habitat. I recognize the work these places do to either rehabilitate (and release when they can) and the the admission for us...More

Initially very excited to go to the park, we were quite underwhelmed with the reception and food available in the cafe. It was Fathers Day & obviously priority was being given to the participants of the 5k fund-raiser walk. No light refreshments available & staff...More

Great wildlife park, the miniature train provides a great vantage point to see most of the animals in the park.

We drove for miles to visit Kamloops Wildlife Park to see a Bear. Travelling through Canada at the beginning of Spring, means the big fellas are still snoozing in the wild, and we weren't really keen to see one up close and personal in the...More

Glad the park is there for rehabilitation of injured animals but it's kind of rundown. The foyer and gift shop areas are the most looked after areas of the whole park. Many areas are too small for their inhabitants or difficult to access in order...More

This place is just great. It’s small but my son and I managed to spend 4 hours in it (had lunch there). We loved the little train ride which is operated by volunteers and for which you pay 1 dollar per person. It’s well worth...More
