This is a MUST visit winery when coming to the OK!! It is a little piece of Italy with an old world feel. The views are stunning, the ambience makes you want to stay all day and drink wine and breathe in the view. The wine is excellent, the Baco Noir is my absolute favourite! Don’t miss this this little gem and don’t forget your camera.

I am long overdue posting this but this is a must see winery when visiting Kelowna. Me and my 3 girlfriends (who are from the coast) came to visit me this past summer and we had the best time. We had many laughs with the staff, especially Andrea who was so accommodating and fun! The staff all around was amazing. We sat around for hours playing a card game called "5 seconds" and laughed with a few bottles of their Pinot Noir! We will definitely be back this summer.

Jane poured our wine today at Ancient Hill. They offer three wines for a five dollar tasting fee, not waived with Purchase. Let’s face it, finding a tasting fee as low as five dollars is not common these days, even if it is only three wines. The original plantings of grapes on this property was approximately 80 to 90 years ago. I think it went from a vineyard, to growing apples, and then back to the Vineyard it is today. Regarding today, their vines were planted in the mid 2000s, with the winery open for business in 2012. The tasting started with the rosé, made from baco noir and Zweigelt. They call it a really nice patio wine, you get some cranberry on the finish. It is a pretty tasty rosé. She poured some 2020 Pinot Noir for our second tasting option. This was a dry-ish wine, could definitely detect tannins right away. It was enjoyable. Our final selection was the Baco Noir. As you may expect, it had a very deep, distinct color. This was also an enjoyable wine along with the entire tasting experience. Don’t be afraid to bring along a picnic basket, as they have ample room on the grounds to come, enjoy a snack, and taste their wines. You can purchase a bottle of wine, and consume it… Or just have one glass, cap it, and take it with you. With excellent customer service, friendly staff, and tasty wines, we are definitely going to visit this winery again.

Our visit to Ancient Hill Estate for winery appreciation was exceptional. The vineyard's picturesque setting provided a perfect backdrop for tasting their exquisite wines. The owner, jitske was so friendly. We highly recommend it for a delightful and educational experience.

This winery is truly a gem. It is in Kelowna north high on the hills. Their specialty is red wines but they have others too. The decor is amazin g with all the flowers and shaded outdoors with tables where you can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a bottle or glass with your lunch. A definitely “not miss”.
