We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mall access to Lowe's an asset in inclement weather. Good chinese food counter at Fairways. Liquor store. Teen clothes shopping, antique store and pet store. This mall does lots of community programs for kids.

Great location but just can’t gain traction.
Don’t know the how’s and why’s but when you see a 10,000 sq ft used book store with one solitary employee plodding about and no a single customer you just know something is desperately wrong. I have no answers, only observations. Great quality space that is just crying for people !
Fairway Market, Canadian Tire, London Drugs what brings most people here with Lowe’s trying it’s best to overcome the prior Target fiasco curse.
Fairway’s cantina excellent for hot, fresh, yummy stay in or take out, and worth the visit.

The atmosphere is pleasant enough but there is a distinct lack of popular stores you usually find in a mall. So I don't frequent this place much, but when I do, I like Fairway Market's hot buffet section and poking around London Drugs. I guess with Sears closing in the near future it will leave a major vacancy in this mall. I wonder who will fill that space.

Golf really is for everyone at Prime Golf!
Its a fantastic new indoor golf facility that has opened up in North town centre in Nanaimo. You can rent a simulator for about $50 per hour so it makes for a pretty affordable family activity. There is lots of choices. You can play a full 18 whole golf course if you want, work on improving your golf game or just play some games with the kids. Nice to have another option for rainy day family activities in Nanaimo

Seems to be a recent change in returns policy at Canadian Tire.
I have fought a number if items on spec with the idea that if I was not satisfied or the item was not suitable I could return it.
Not any more, it seems. If a purchased item is not in new condition it will not be returnable.
At times whenever this has been the situation in other stores I was advised at the cash register that the item was not returnable and this was a final sale. Not so at CT.
Disappointing 😩
Posting to advise other potential customers of this situation so they don't get shocked like I was returning an item.

I frequent this mall because of Canadian Tire store which moved here over 2 years ago. It has pretty much everything that a normal person and family need. The usual grocery store, pharmacy, bank, electronics store, clothing store, a small food court, book store, etc. There are lots of parking compared to the downtown area where you have to pay for pay-parking. The setting is very nice with a stunning view of Mt. Benson in the background.

I wouldn’t call this a real mall anymore .. here are decent stores but most are accessible from the outside .. London Drugs, Fairway Mkt., Tim Horton’s, Cdn. Tire... nothing more really there that I go to except the yearly Rotary book 📚 fair.

There are still many empty stores inside ... hope they get filled

I do occasionally go to Canadian Tire & The Cinema - I see bigger Marks Work Warehouse is here now .. those anchors help but the smaller stores IN mall do nothing for me (& I prefer shopping small biz) - HUGE area inside mall is empty , where they seem to have the yearly Rotary Book store sale .. otherwise empty. I don’t consider it a “mall”..
