This sculpture is beautifully created. Tells a powerful and important story. Located in the town centre.

It is so wonderful to have this sculpture brought to life mere steps from the event itself. Not only a memory enlivened, but a great photo opp too.

As a history buff, and someone who hasn't missed a Remembrance Day ceremony this century, I want give this statue some respect, but find I just can't. The "front" faces north, so any photo-op is likely to be taken into the sun. So, perhaps choose...More

I went to the ceremony of this sculpture years ago. The boy, who's now in his 70s, was there. They gave out free coins commemorating this event. I would give this a perfect 5/5, but I don't like how they put cheesy Christmas lights around...More
