We walked from downtown to this area and it was a long walk. Stay on the trail as you may run into a few strange people along the river.

This was a fab walk, dog friendly, easy walking. The carvings in the cottonwood trees are amazing. We tried to find them all. Well worth a second trip.

Its always a great walk along the rivers where the Nechako & Fraser Rivers meet. The sad part is the City is letting the erosion destroy the walking paths and most likely wont have much to walk on in a few years.

Walked these trails from the time my kids were preteens to my adult grandchildren. Now I walk my dog. Don’t forget to look for the beautiful carvings in the tree trunks

Love going for walks here along the bank of the Nechako River. There are many different species of birds flitting through the trees. There are tree carvingssand it’s not unusual to get a glimpse of a black bear or an eagle while walking the pathways.
