So..I have to be upfront here...the Wheelhouse is not your usual brew pub. It is not a yuppy-fied hangout. There is no food, uness you bring your own, and you can do that. It is a blue collar place..a working persons pub..a Prince Rupert pub...with...More

Great relaxing atmosphere with a selection of beers to match. The Flagship IPA did it for me with the Scurvy Dog Spruce Ale not far behind. A good venue. Pity there are no tables and chairs outside for when it's hot and sunny - maybe...More

This small brewery is down near the waterfront in Cow Bay. They have a good range of beers, but of particular note was the IPA. I'm an IPA fanatic and enjoy local brews in Portland OR and from around the NW. The IPA here easily...More

I came midweek shortly after they opened for the day, expecting to see a busy after work crowd as is common with the Terrace brewery. I wasn’t disappointed that it *wasn’t* busy, but more surprised. Service was excellent as was the beer. Obviously beer preferences...More

Such a cool place to find in Prince Rupert! "Vitamin Sea" was my absolute favourite beer to try on tap. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Arrrrrr....the Wheelhouse is a hidden gem. Eclectically unsophisticated the way a micro brew pub should be. Tap Maiden was awesome. Cheerful. Friendly. Witty. Paired with Muchos Gustos and emotionally prepare yourself for ExtraSensoryPerception!

It is a great spot to meet the locals and the tourists. Staff are fantastic....beer is great! I quite enjoyed the Blacksmith Brownale.....yummy! The decor is rustic with a marine theme. I have popped in a couple times and always had a good time.
