Our first cruise in 30 years and we had a great time. Our only complaint was the long lines and time to get on board, getting off was done in less than 30 minutes. Enjoyed the food, service and scenery. Had breakfast in our cabin every day and loved it. Main dining all was great, got to know the servers,... More

Had a great cruise on the Celebrity Infinity. It was nice that it was the end of the season and this was its last trip to Alaska for the year. The ship wasn't completely full which was nice. Staff very friendly, evening shows were amazing and Damien and Mark kept us entertained with their friendly banter which had us in... More

Queen of Diamonds Captain Almost killed us after the Fireworks of 2016. While there were few minor issues with respect to our fireworks cruise - overall it was the best way to see the fireworks in English Bay if you do not want to fight the crowds and go to the beach. The cruise left from the Plaza of Nations Marina by the BCE Stadium - we parked in the lot beside... More

This was are very first cruise and now we are hooked! Holland America line was mind blowing. The ship is beyond belief. After a tour of the " behind the scenes " it is so fascinating how everything and everyone makes it all work. The ship is very luxurious, our stateroom was amazing. Gourmet food everywhere! Bars and lounges throughout... More

My wife and I received a Valentine cruise from our Daughter and her family for Christmas! Yesterday we boarded the Queen of Diamond ship at the Plaza of Nations Marina around 5 pm. However I should mention the parking because after all it's Vancouver and parking can be a pain and expensive! Park at the Impark Lot #1188, 750 Pacific... More

We planned a Celebrity cruise for September leaving Vancouver and ending in Shanghai. We got off to a very bad start. Embarkation was a nightmare. This was our eighth cruise and have never had such a bad experience embarking a ship. It was totally disorganized. Each arriving passenger could have been given a number and everyone would have been taken... More

The itinerary of this cruise was excellent. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food on the Norwegian Sun, it was generally bland and tasteless, especially in the buffet. On a cruise along the Alaskan coast, there was little or no local produce and in the land of Alaskan salmon, this was very disappointing. Our main concern with... More

We took this one hour harbor cruise. The boat was old and not particularly clean or comfortable. Limited seating on upper outside deck. The scenery was just OK. The best part was watching seaplanes taking off which we could have done from land. Should have passed on this one.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
