A truly excellent service , would absolutely recommend
We were visiting Squamish from the UK and booked the skylynx coach to take us to Vancouver airport. It was an absolutely great service, all booked on line, picked us up in Squamish on time , very comfortable clean coach which took us right through to Vancouver airport. It also makes stops in Vancouver An excellent service that we will use again

    Michael & Harry - thanks!
Had an excellent experience with Skylynx bus shuttle! Michael, our driver on Tuesday (21/11) from YVR to Whistler at 12:15, was friendly and made the journey enjoyable. On Thursday (23/11), our driver Harry at 13:30 was not only as handsome as Michael but also drove so smoothly that I was asleep the entire trip back to Vancouver. Both drivers provided top-notch service & deserve golf holiday trips. Kudos to Michael and Harry for making our travel comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend Skylynx for a smooth ride and great drivers! Five stars! 🌟

Best option from Vancouver to Whistler if you don’t want to rent a car!
I researched options and skylynx seemed the best based on reviews, particularly the normal bus route from the Vancouver airport to Whistler because they use the large coach line type busses with the bathroom in the back. Although the extra stops were not convenient and added time to the trip, we do not regret this decision. Guessing the trip could have been made in under two hours but the timetable (and they were punctual) had us departing/arriving each time in 3 hours with all the stops. We also had to wait at the airport on the way in and on the way out for a couple of extra hours each time due to our flight schedule and the bus schedule. For the price and service, this really was the best option for our family. We did not feel comfortable renting a car and driving as we are not familiar with the area and driving in snowy mountain conditions. We also didn’t want to end up in a smaller sprinter type van (based on some unfavorable reviews of these being a bit cramped, etc.) so we did not select the ‘express’ routes. The bus was clean and large and comfortable and on time. Drivers were courteous and drove safely. And it allowed us all to admire the scenery on the way. Sit on the left going to Whistler as others mentioned, for the best views! Drop off/pickup at Whistler Village was at the gateway loop near the visitor centre and was just around the corner from the Summit Lodge hotel where we were staying. From there, we walked with 4 rolling luggage, backpacks, and two children (8 and 10). No problems. On the return, it was a little more challenging because it had snowed and we departed early so it seemed the snow plows were just getting started. We managed with the luggage although some kind of drop off/pickup at the hotel would have been more convenient, it seemed like there were no better options unless you either had a rental car (not for us as we did not want to drive) or chose a private car (pricey).

    Excellent service
Excellent on time collection at the hotel. Very pleasant driver and arrived in Vancouver airport right on time. Perfect service. It would be helpful if they ran a later service from Vancouver to whistler that connected with the late international flights

    Good experience
Booked our oneway trip 3 months ago. Used a local (Uber) called Whistle to take us to the pickup point (Gateway Loop, Whistler) as we had lots of luggage. Highly recommend this company. All went to plan 😁

    Sit back and relax
I chose the Express bus. Plenty of room and a bathroom. I did roundtrip and both took 2-2.5 hours. I was dropped off and picked up at the Westin hotel. Both drivers were professional. Special thanks to our return driver Michael for a great ride.

    Exceptional service
Exceptional service. Picked up right on melville st there right at the hyatt hotel which is quite convenient. Driver was friendly and impeccable driving. Appreciated the safety announcement at the beginning of the trip and the very friendly priced fares, which makes up for how expensive everything is in Whistler. Highly recommend!

Punctual, affordable and convenient with varying customer service levels
We travelled from Vancouver to whistler and return. Both buses were punctual and comfortable but busy, so advise booking in advance. The journey to whistler the driver was grumpy and didn’t seem to like helping people or doing anything to make their journey more enjoyable or comfortable. On the return journey, Dave was the exact opposite. Helpful, friendly and was a pleasure travelling with him. Having a friendly voice and helpful service for tourists is invaluable and our return journey was much more enjoyable than outbound due to the driver!

    Easy transfer and great experience
Travelled with Michael and had a wonderful trip. Bus was prompt, easy to book and find and the journey was both stunning and enjoyable because of Michael's engagement with us on board and making it an extra special experience. Couldn't fault it. Will book with Skylynx when I return for sure.

Best ride from Whistler to Vancouver
This is my 2nd trip with Skylynx from Whistler to downtown Vancouver. Both times the drivers were cordial, pleasant and efficient. Bus departed on schedule and arrived on time. The bus was clean, washroom was clean, great air con, comfortable seats. Views all along the way were absolutely spectacular.

On my way up from Squamish to Whistler the driver was really nice and drove us even up to the blackomb base. He wished us a great day and was very friendly and helped unloading our skis.
Unfortunately on the way back from Whistler to Squamish the driver forced us to take of our ski- boots before boarding the bus and board it in our socks for an unknown reason (i think that was weird maybe it is because they have a very expensive floor in the bus, atleast it looks like that), I have had boarded the bus already multiple times in my ski-boots. Then he told us that we were not allowed to put things under our seat and had to put everything in to the storage above our heads( like the one they have in airplanes but much smaller). This took so long, we left Whistler with over 20 minutes of delay. The driver did a really good job explaining safety to passengers, told us to put on seatbelts, sit doen on the toilet in the bus and were emergency exits are and how to open them. Overall the drive felt very safe. Skylynx is a good choice to travel between Squamish and Whistler if you like spending money on comfort.

We took the Skylynx from Vancouver Airport to Whistler and back again at the end of our trip. The hardest part was finding their office in Vancouver's busy airport! We had luggage and ski equipment, so it was great having the driver manage that for us. While passengers were settling in, the driver came down the aisle and spoke to each of us, welcoming us, and hoping we enjoyed the trip. Bus left right on time. It was a really nice, large bus, WiFi, washroom, seatbelts, comfortable roomy seats. We drove right through downtown Vancouver, and the bus driver was a good tour guide, pointing out the sights. I have only been to Vancouver once before, so this was much appreciated, and made for an interesting trip. Gorgeous cherry trees, magnolias, daffodils and tulips. Very scenic along the Sea to Sky Highway. The driver even gave us some good recommendations of places to try while in Whistler (purebread bakery was the absolute best!). When we arrived in Whistler, the little shuttle was waiting to take us to our hotel. The trip back was also good, just one stop in Squamish, which was also interesting to see. The return driver was not quite as personable, but still very helpful and efficient. Got to the airport in good time. This was a great service!

This is the cheapest way to get downtown. Parking costs more than a bus ticket You don't save much time by driving yourself ( conditions dependent) and it's very convenient. Wi-Fi isn't the best and heat can feel like ac sometimes but it's easy.

Hi! True! We do offer one of the most cost efficient service from downtown Vancouver to whistler, vice versa! You would save about 30-40 minutes if you do drive by yourself but sometimes it's nice to just sit back and let someone else do the driving haha! Sorry to hear about the AC and Wifi situation, we will monitor that as well to find ways to improve it. Thank you for the review and see you again soon! - YVR Skylynx

The actual pick up and drop off was very reliable and timely. Our plane was late by 3 hours and the staff automatically at Skylynx moved us to the next bus departure time from Vancouver airport which saved the day. The only negative is the bus toilet did not have toilet paper and lacked hand sanitizer.

Hi! I am so sorry to hear that toilet paper was not restocked on our bus that departure. We will remind our staff to make sure these things are stocked before departing. Hope you had a wonderful time in Whistler and we would love to see you again - YVR Skylynx

Travelling with Skylynx is easy and fast. The website is easy and quick to use. Mike the bus driver was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful . Mike arrived at Burrard sky train station 20 minutes early to ensure that everyone had an opportunity to put their bags away and choose their seats.
We departed on time (just like the website says). Mike was an awesome and obviously a professional driver, he encouraged everyone to wear their seatbelts (not many people followed his advice).
We arrived in whistler early, which was awesome.
One note that was beyond Mike’s control and concerning was that Mike received a cell phone call from the head office while he was driving (I was seated behind Mike & could hear the conversation). Highly inappropriate, unsafe, illegal and concerning. Mike was polite and professionally reminded the caller that he was driving. Apparently, someone arrived late and had missed the bus and made allegations that the bus had left early. In my opinion, head office should NOT be calling a driver while he was driving. To make this worse, the head office called Mike three times.

I chose to fly into YVR Airport for a 3 day snowboarding Whistler trip with a couple buddies of mine.

If you are looking for a cost effective and efficient bus service to Whistler, look no further!

I went with the flexible RT ticket, which was $75 ($37.50 each way) compared to the non refundable ticket of $70.00 ($35 each way). For such a minimal difference, I didn’t want to take my chances. For these prices, it’s almost a no brainer to take this bus. Also, since these prices are in CAD, with the US conversion rates, it made it even cheaper! (~ $50 USD). I ain’t complaining!

2 pieces of luggage were included; which was ample for us as 1 piece was our boards and the other, a small hand carry.

Anyways, once we arrived, we walked out to Bay 9 (take a left) and were greeted by Mo. He was super friendly, professional and an exceptional driver!

The whole overall ride was smooth and comfortable. The bus was exceptionally clean and seats were comfy. It took roughly about 2.5 hours to get to the Whistler Village.

I would recommend YVR Skylynx to anyone looking for a efficient and cost effective solution to Whistler! I had such a great experience that I will only take them when I go to Whistler again! I also found out that they make stops in Downtown Vancouver as well! Y’all have a customer for life! Thanks YVR Skylynx and Mo (great driving skills!)

I took the shuttle on the afternoon of 18 Jan. We were in the middle of a snowstorm and conditions were terrible, as was traffic. Our driver did a fantastic job and was brilliant on roads I would not have wanted to be driving personally. That being said, we were an hour late to YVR and he didn't actually give us an update (at the start of the trip he said we would be there at 7pm, the scheduled time, and we made it at 8pm). I'd kinda anticipated this given the weather and booked the 4pm shuttle instead of the 6pm shuttle even though it was getting me there several hours earlier than I needed to arrive. I was fine with the delay and happy to arrive safely, but I know there were a few very stressed passengers on the bus that day.

Hi! Sorry to hear about the delay but we are more glad everyone got to their destination safe and sound :) It was a smart decision of you to anticipate this and book the earlier shuttle! Hope you had a wonderful trip still and we look forward to seeing you again - YVR Skylynx

The ride felt safe, but we are unlikely to book Skylynx again. When we did the search of transfer options Whistler to YVR the banner said $30 one-way and $40 round trip but don’t believe them. That only gets you to or from Squamish. I phoned for assistance and the girl didn’t tell me they had a no changes or cancellations rate and a flexible rate so i just booked our one-way trip. When we tried to change to an Express bus which would have given the company more money from us we were told our ticket didn’t allow that and when escalated to a manager we were again denied. We told him to expect a review like this one and he didn’t seem to care. When we arrived at the Gateway Loop 15 minutes early as recommended there were 5 or 6 buses and a large number of people. Adding to the chaos was that the bus had nothing indicating it was the Skylynx coach while we moved throughout the crowd with our luggage. At the three stops before YVR we kept watch to make sure our luggage stayed on board as another passenger said a friend had some stuff left behind.
Book with care if you choose this transfer company!

July 2022 - Bus beeped for over 20 minutes then broke down just after Lions Gate Bridge. Every passenger had to get off and wait in excruciating hot sun on the side of the bridge for a replacement bus. Replacement bus finally came and dropped us off at a random area in the city. Of course everyone was very late and now had to make new travel arrangements at their own expense. While I realise “these things happen”, I emailed Skylynx several times regarding this poor experience and requested/expected a refund. I have received zero response from a manager or anyone who can issue a credit/refund. Very dissatisfied.

Also - Their advertised “free wifi” is a zero star (rarely works/extremely weak signal on every bus).

Travelling can be very stressful especially when you are with a large group. Did my research and came up with 3 companies. Spoke with representatives from each company and quotes were provided. Also read previous reviews.

Thankful that we chose Skylynx. what stood out for me was their amazing service. From the first representative I spoke with (Jessie) to my main contact person Theo. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and went out of their way to provide us with an exceptional experience. They gave us recommendations of places to visit in Victoria, Vancouver and Squamish.

Theo, the manager, worked hard to ensure we are well-taken cared of. I spoke with him multiple times weeks before our trip and during our time in Vancouver. I cannot stress enough how much that meant not just to me but to the whole group of 20 people. Both Jaden and Michael who drove us were pleasant, accommodating and we felt safe.

Thank you again Theo and your wonderful team for an experience we will remember. Hope to be back next year. Connect with you again then.

Highly recommend your company!

We went around Victoria, Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler from/to the airport.
