Wonderful aquarium with emphasis on marine life in British Columbia. Also has a number of exhibits and events for kids. Lots of interactive exhibits and presentations for kids and adults. Indoor and outdoor exhibits. Can easily spend 3-5 hours here

The aquarium is nice, a lot of decent displays of not just BC, but also the Amazon and other areas. Several jellyfish tanks, caiman, piranha, and huge fish will keep any age occupied. The best part are the larger animals. Seals, sea lions, and dolphins...More

So much to see and do! Kids were never bored and the 4D film is a must see. Sea Otters, Dolphins, and Sea Lions shows are well worth the wait to see them all! Restaurant was reasonable in price and portions are good.

This is a good aquarium. It is not huge so you can see it all. They do have training shows and a 4D movie that are all included with the admission.

Because it's a smaller aquarium, I thought we'd spend an hour or two here. I was here for several hours with my 4 children, teens and young children. Highlights were the dolphin, the touch tank and the otters. The outdoor areas are so pleasant on...More

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.
