Very busy and beautiful in the summer. Food is great. The market is full of all kinds of people. Everyone seems to be having great time and I would recommend it to all.

First time we came to this place in 2004. During this 13 years, we came visit once a while. Now it gets way too busy. Children’s market is full of toys. Be surprised the variety. More artists came for street performance. Those art craft stores...More

Had a fantastic time at the Science and Maker festival on Father's day. Lots of really interesting and engaging presentations, activities and crafts. My 11 and 13 year olds were fully engaged and we had to drag them away to catch the bus to meet...More

I had really high expectations for granville island because of their instagram account. While it was gorgeous to visit, i found the market incredibly crowded - you literally could not move, people were pushy and you could not get close enough to talk to vendors....More

Maninly an indoor type market with many eateries and gift stores. Well priced, busy any plenty of parking nearby. Lookout for the green parking signs as these define free parking.
