In summer time it is a great place to do BBQ with friends and family, just stay looking to the ocean and take a rest.

Its another chill place to go and relax, watch the water and big ships coming in, or anchored off in the distance. There is logs to sit on, or you can bring a towel and sit on that. Free parking and toilets not far away...More

This is not a regular beach, the ones we go to swim, etc. It' s more a place to relax, practice sports, or just watch the big ships in the ocean. Very peaceful, though.

As part of my exploring I walked to Kitsilano Beach on my way back from the museum. Lovely place, chilled vibe and we ate a great meal at the local restaurant.

You really must go on summer because it really nice and don't forget to bring some blanket with you so that you can sit and relax in the nice weather.

In a sunny summer day, it can get crowded but it a great spot for a short walk to the dogs' areas or a picnic. Catch beautiful sunsets in the summer while you play beach volleyball. Open all year long!

Yes, both of my dogs were off leash as were many others. Make sure your pups are well-behaved and you will get along just fine.

During the summer usually, but the salt water pool right next door on the beach is kept at 25 degrees (Celsius). It is open May to mid-September.
