Great lookout, awesome view

Absolutely great view of vancouver, bay, and even Grouse mountain ski resort. We went at dusk and it was beautiful. Great with kids.

Go up and have a look at the view, it's worth it. We combined a trolley bus pass with the lockout and having done the tour of Vancouver it was great then see everything from above. Even though we were there on a not so clear day you still see for miles.

The Lookout is the best place to get a good view over Vancouver's skyline, huge harbour and wonderful surrounding areas, it's good to go in the morning when the number of visitors is low and again in the evening to see the skyscrapers and ships lit up, if you suffer from vertigo, don't go in the normal lift as it... Went up at sunset so saw the city in daylight and also a dramatic sunset, just beautiful, tranquil way to end our trip to Vancouver after many days of hectic activity.

I had an amazing experience from this lookout, that night was full moon, the lights on the stadium are changing colors, beautiful view from Vancouver.

Pretty expensive and just... meh. Only do it if you have seriously run out of things to do. Now if they actually had a nice coffee shop at the top or bar or something that would be a different story.

We took two families up the tower on a rare clear day and were rewarded with views to Mt Baker in the US. My favourite view was of the bay around Canada Place - the best way to see those Sydney Opera House like sails. A great way to get your BC bearings.

Too hot and stuffy but great views of the city. Informative free tours but steep price to visit. They offer a second sunset visit for free if you go during the day, though.

Amazing way to see the city and shows off all that Vancouver has to offer. Easy access to the viewing lounge and lots of space to hang around and see what's going on

Hit the restaurant, then visit the lookout. The views are incredible and the info will be great if you play trivia

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
