Neighbourhood: Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good place to see across the bay to the opposite shore and you get good views of Lions Gate Bridge.
The location of the point is known in the Skwxwu7mesh (Squamish) language as Chay-thoos, meaning "high bank".
We watched ships coming and going and the seaplanes coming in to land and having just taken off. I've never seen that before!
Close to walks around the park and right by the bus stops.

I used Prospect Point as the spot to park and do some hiking but before that I enjoyed magnificent views from the lookout. For there you can get great pictures of North and West Vancouver as well as the Lion's Gate Bridge. There is also a restaurant where you can get a cold drink or a coffee.

Nice view of the Lions Gate Bridge. Various trails to walk around on a sunny day. Good washroom facilities. Pay parking but no admission fees.

The day was sunny and bright which made the views awesome and a perfect vantage point for photos. While we didn't stay long, that didn't make it any less of a great place.

This is a great vantage point for looking out over Lions Gate Bridge and across to the North Shore.
There is a restaurant and a car park nearby.

Prospect Point Park and lookout is an amazing lookout spot and a great place to view the sunset. Provides magnificent views of the Lions gate bridge, check out ships across the water and beautiful sunset views over the water. Must stop spot if in the area and recommend visiting during sunset hours.

My review is more about Prospect Point as a whole and not just the lighthouse which is great to see. We walked to the Point as we were doing the Seawall trail. There was some parking and places to sit. We went in the gift shop and had a browse and got a cold drink and the service was all quick and efficient. The views out over the water and mountains was incredible as were the views of the Lions gate Bridge. Watching the ships and smaller boats and sitting under a glorious blue sky just added to our day

Located at the northernmost end of Stanley Park, you can see the Lions Gate Bridge up close. The buildings in the North Vancouver area on the opposite bank also blend in with the surrounding greenery, creating a beautiful sight. However, the shops were closed for some reason.
