It's fun to dress up for this pirate adventure. We found hats and hooks and eye patches in the Kids Market. Our family climbed aboard and immediately became pirates on a big adventure. It was a great way to see Vancouver, from the relatively sheltered inner harbour called False Creek. I highly recommend it for all ages. The crew was... More

I did the excursion with another family and my 4 yr old toddler. It's a fun excursion but there is too much dramatics for toddlers comprehension. The 3-6 yr old kids would do much better with a lot of signing rather than all the dramatics. Too much so. The toddlers were crying cuz they didn't understand what was happening. Also... More

We took out pirate-crazy 2-year-old and he was in his glory. There was also a birthday party for another little boy on board. So much fun for the littles! If we lived here we would definitely book our next birthday party for the little dude with these folks.

We booked our childs 6yr old birthday party in early Sept for Oct 8 after several phone calls about weather, and safty for kids etc. The date was available and their website specified it. We gladly booked the party and invited out of town friends and family. Mid Sept a call comes and they have to cancel the party because... More

Safety is absolutely our number one priority at Pirate Adventures. We cannot legally( as stipulated by Transport Canada regulations) and we will not "morally" jeopardize the safety of your children and family, by not having the proper crew on board. I understand your frustration. As previously mentioned to you we are not in the business of cancelling sails. As you... More

We took our grandchildren (ages 7, 6 and 4) on this adventure last week, and had an excellent experience. From the moment we entered the Pirate Shop to be decked out in gear, to the moment we docked, we were highly entertained by the energetic and humorous crew. The stories were amusing, and the jokes were relatable to every generation.... More

The youngest kids we have are two 14 year old boys (they are not twin so adopted one) and the rest of our kids are adults. My wife got this idea that this would be fun for the whole family. I had my doubts. But as usual she was right and we all had a great time. The trip is... More

Pirates Adventures is a great time for tourists with young children as a fun time that is entertainment at its best. The ship is pretty cool-looking, and the staff is full of chortling actors (or wannabe actors) who will yo-ho-ho you from start to finish. Everyone is dressed up in the traditional garb, and they will dress you if you... More

Took my kids aged 9/9 and 11 on the 1100 am Sunday cruise. Kids were ushered into the storefront and attired by energetic pirate staff who made us feel welcome and at ease. Headed onto the boat with expected safety briefing done pirate style and off we headed. Nothing like a lovely sunny day in Vancouver on False Creek. An... More

We had a great adventure! My sons 3yr and 5yr had a swashbuckling good time as did we. Very humorous for young and old. Water cannons were a bit hit, especially when shooting unsuspecting bandits.
