We spent 3 days travelling on the sky train into the centre and around. (As we are over 65 the trips (within 1 sector) only cost $1.75 each). You can get day passes as well as paying extra for different sectors. Very clean and regular trains

Skytrain provides Fast and reliable service, especially on rainy or snowy days when it is hard to drive on the road. The skytrain map is simple and easy to understand. However, simple map can also mean that the Vancouver skytrain system has not developed to a point that all the major cities can be reached by just taking the skytrain... More

Compared to other big-city transit, I find the skytrain comfortable, safe, frequent and relatively clean. It doesn't run late at night and the stops can be quite distant from each other but it is a great option for travelling from downtown to some of the further reaches of the Vancouver area.

Skytrain is excellent ,for me going from yvr to downtown or richmond. Also I have meetings out in new west ,the skytrain brings me there in a jiffy ,with the new construction poco and port moody are accessible.

Very good signage so easy to get to where you are going. Took the line to the terminus station at Lafarge Lake to see the lights on the weekend. The train was the best & easiest way to do this. Well done.

The link between the airport and our Downtown hotel took about thirty minutes and was very reasonable in cost. You can pay at station with international credit card.

I really don't mind pay $10 for a day pass and using this service on a pay per use. There should be more security out checking people's tickets that's aren't paying. Get some new cars, the old ones are small and worn. Otherwise, love using the sky train when in vancity.

Easy and cheap way to get to downtown from YVR and save quiet a bit on a cab ride. Plus if you want to jump on the green, eco-planet-friendly wave that themes BC this is the way to go! $2.50pp after 8pm gets you a unlimited day pass.

We travelled by Skytrain to various locations around Vancouver. There was a station right below our hotel and buying the ticket was a very simple process. the machines give change with the ticket. The trains are quite frequent. At one station a skytrain officer saw we were tourists and approached us to offer help. We found Canadians generally very friendly... More
