Close to Yaletown train station, beer brewed on premises and with a "pub-style" menu. They have about 5 standard beers on tap plus a few rotating. Beer is good but the wild mushroom pizza was excellent. Medium-cost for a pub but happy hour from 3 to 6pm is a good deal.

Sometimes, you travel with friends/colleagues and you have to oblige in the activity of the day. Expectations were fairly low when it comes to this place and let's just say that expectations were met, but no more What I liked: Nice atmosphere, with some outdoor seating. Friendly service. Good beer selection. Varied menu, attempting to offer some local specialties. Relatively... More

Went recently for afternoon lunch and got to enjoy the sun on their great patio! I had an IPA and it was great - a friend split the bbq chicken pizza and a caesar salad. The homemade pizza crust was incredible, thin but still able to hold up the topping. Service was friendly, but slow.

I haven't been here for years and was excited to be back. I tried to order a cider but they only had two sweet ones available. I know i should have ordered their beer. Then i ordered an appie to share; the $8.99 wedge fries. Well i offered them to people but no one would take one because there were... More

Asked the guys for a tour and they took us down to where it is all brewed and talked us through the process... not sure if this is standard practice for them but we really appreciated it. The guys where really friendly and good for a chat. The beer was good too.

This is another overpriced restaurant in yaletown neighborhood. We ried several of the appetizers, pizza, backyard burger and beef tenderloin sandwich. The sandwiches. Are small for $16 that you pay with an average taste.

It is located in the heart of the busy Yaletown restaurant area. The beer is brewed right on location so it is super fresh and tasty. Tried the IPA and the Howlin Wolf Coffee Porter. Both were very tasty. My wife had the fish and chips, which were ok. I tried the Duck confit which was totally amazing.

Popped in for a couple of beers this afternoon and their usual IPA was very good with the seasonal Buddha IPA even better :) Ok it was a quiet Saturday afternoon and service was excellent. Large seating area inside & outside.

Prime location at a busy Yaletown corner; lots of room makes from amazing people watching. Like most public houses their menu contains a lot of oily foods. Greasy enough to make my friend's stomach queasy. I tried enough beer to realize their recipe isn't to my liking.

This is a massive brewery/restaurant with a great range of food and drink. The IPA was the best I had in BC. They serve BC wines - the Sauvignon blanc from the Okanagan was a little blah, especially at $13 for a 9 oz glass. The food ranged from pizza (a special that night at $10 for foot wide) up... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
