Was fortunate to be able to purchase tickets for Turandot at the VO. The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is contemporary and airy. The line-ups for coat check ($2) decreased very quickly and the washrooms, bars etc are very well signposted. The auditorium was spacious and the...More

What an incredible thought provoking performance by a talented company. Initially unsure about attending this event but now inspired to attend more alternative performances delivered by the Vancouver Opera. Let's get more, and diverse cultural events to our great city.

We went to opening night of Madama Butterfly and were thrilled with the production. The staging was simple but effectively enhanced with stunning lighting. The singing and orchestration was first rate. We'll probably go again, but will probably wait for another classic opera.

Awesome! Went to see Rigoletto, absolutely loved the whole experience, although I thought the audience under appreciated the performance.
