If you're into military aviation history best places for you. There's lots of displays from World War I World War II the cold war it even the modern day. All of this is inside the aircraft which are outside and a short walk away.

We went with our 6 and 7 year old grandsons. Was a great time for them. The displays are very well set up and there are interactive displays - so great for young boys. They particularly liked the control tower where there are lots of switches and they could light up the airstrip. At the end of the tour there... More

Visit this small but impressive museum located at the gates of BC's only RCAF base. Walk through the outdoor aircraft display while modern RCAF aircraft fly overhead. Do research in the library with help from Allison. You can even get history directly by talking to the volunteers. You may even run into a Battle Of Britain vet dusting the shelves,... More

Lived in the valley for many years and finally visited this great museum. It is full of many artifacts that have a personal note of the men and woman who served and lived in the Comox Valley. The airplane and tank models were fantastic. The displays took you from the first world war to the present SARC. Lots to see... More

I ha e wanted visit the Comox museum having visited others over the years. The museum is very clean and tidy and had a large amount of information and artifacts to see. I had interesting talks with the volunteer staff before walking out to the aircraft static displays. The aircraft are located in a separate field not under cover. Although... More

If you are interested in history of the Air Force especially the Canadian Royal Air Force then this is a must visit. The staff are very helpful and the displays contain just the right level of information to be very informative without being too much especially for a small museum. All in all a worth while visit

My husband and the boys are into plane and they love this place so much that they don't want to leave. My husband explains to them everything there is on display. Very educational for the kids and for anyone who is into air force history. The admission fee is by donation.

Visited the museum with family including ou Dad who served in the Canadian Navy. We were engaged, entertained and absolutely impressed with the vastness of artifacts, how everything is presented and captured. Greeted by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. This museum is impressive and we highly recommend visiting it and we will definitely come back again with guests who visit us... More

Photos, memorabilia and stories that tell the history of the Air Force on the island. This museum run by very knowledgable volunteers is worth a visit for all ages. There is a lot of information on the actions taken by the military regarding the possible invasion of the Japanese during the war, which me, a girl from Ontario did not... More

If you are the least bit curious about the history of the RCAF (with some coverage of naval aviation) in British Columbia, don't wait: Visit the Comox Air Force Museum. I was expecting a good museum and found an excellent one! The exhibits are absolutely first class and match anything you'll find in one of the larger museums elsewhere. Best... More
