A friend took me once to show me this park I had not been to, and when we walked through I was surprised. Not only is it as beautiful as the rest of victorias greenery, but it has a feeling of serenity about it. Anywhere from the peacocks to the geese will be running around by your feet, and there... One of the best places in Victoria, especially as it isn't overrun with tourists, like so many of Victoria's destinations. And it is FREE! Flowers are beautiful, the layout provides something for everyone, and the ocean and downtown are never far away. Omnipresent Victoria homeless population nowhere to be seen, which is a bonus.Goats are great and adorable.

Fun to walk the 180 acres and see the ducks and peacocks. So beautiful and domesticated. The ponds were half frozen but still interesting. We walked up to the high point to see the water and huge totem pole below. Nice!

This is a lovely place to come for a stroll in any season. There is lots to see and do and is a really camera friendly spot to get some great photos. Central to downtown Victoria, good parking available, close to the ocean and scenic drives. Don't miss the Beacon Inn for ice cream - this is an institution. Stay... More

Very well groomed historic park. I nice walk all year round. Petting zoo is fun for the animal lover, especially children. Peacocks and so many other species of birds roaming free throughout. Gardens and other structures to enjoy strewn about the park as well. Located near downtown core.

The running of the goats is hilarious. This is a great place to take the family. I loved petting the baby goats.

So many beautiful things to see at this park. Lots of ponds, peacocks, huge trees, one of the tallest totem poles in the world too.

Enjoyed walking around the park for a short time one day in July 2015. It was on the hop-on tour, so we got off. Nice gardens and water areas throughout the section near the bus stop. Also, enjoyed seeing the ducks in the ponds and the peacocks walking around freely. Nice place to go for a walk or relax and... More
