A must-see. Don't leave Victoria without roaming around this incredible museum! Even if you only have an hour or so...do it. There's so much to see, hear, do. You will learn SO much.

The natural history section features a giant mammoth and lots of infornation about mammoths. I learned a lot. The other section features first people exhibits including a display of totem poles and a reconstructed long house. Very interesting.

Must stop in when you're in Victoria. The old town exhibit is amazing. Highly recommended. Will be going back soon ourselves.

This is done so well - a great mixture of items/subjects covered and displayed in a great way - well worth the visit and very reasonably priced.

No they are not. There are not many "pet" appropriate areas for animals in the city centre. Lots in the surrounding municipalities.
