Dave was an extremely knowledgable and detailed guide, pointing out and educating us on many of the things that go unnoticed to the common traveler. Our tour was on our last day in Victoria and he mad us feel bad for having to leave--we have...More

Tour guide Dave Mason leads an interesting and informative walk-through of the city's history and architecture. Congenial Dave knows his stuff; he's an architectural technician and house designer. His two-hour tours start at the Visitor Centre. It's easy to find. Look for the Art Deco...More

Thank you, Louise. I always like to ask where guests are visiting from, and it’s surprising how often a connection can be made between Victoria’s history and the guest’s home country, state/province, or even city! ... Dave

The nine of us had a brief evening in Victoria as the last stop on our 7-day cruise. Touring with Dave was a great way to learn about Victoria, a city I knew next-to-nothing about. The two-hour tour was jam-packed with more than I expected,...More

Thanks for the kind words! I do enjoy getting the younger ones engaged in the tour as well; little fun challenges perhaps. And, yes, the walk from the cruise ship terminal is a good 20-25 minutes, so the cruise shuttle bus or a taxi can...More

Thanks, Elaine! Your family had limited time to get to know Victoria, so I’m delighted that we could arrange this private tour to meet your seaplane arrival and cater to your specific interests as we walked the city. We got to include the glorious old...More

We really enjoyed this overview of Victoria's history and architecture. Dave was incredibly knowledgable about the area. His tour included historic photos of many of the images that let us see how things had changed (or not) over the past century. It was 2 hours...More

Thank you for the great review! It is always fun to compare the sight in front of you to a comparable image from the past. And, yes, sometimes it is virtually identical and sometimes it is completely different. Cheers! ... Dave

Thank you for the great recommendation for my Historic Pub Walk! Although it usually runs as a private tour for groups, I will add an open walk to the online schedule if requested. If sufficient numbers (minimum 6 persons) show interest then we go! Victoria...More

This company doesnt seem to have a website, but the walkers met at the Visitors Centre in Victoria. THis is where we got the information about the tour the day before.
