Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped by late morning and thought I might have a late breakfast or early lunch in the dining room. I was just a few minutes too early so ended up downstairs. This place is busy and for good reason. The coffee is great, the snacks are very good and the service is fantastic. I would stop here again.

The seals are a highlight for most of the visitors to the Marina, who can resist their cute faces? The Marina also hosts a gift shop, the Marina Dockside Eatery and the Marina Restaurant & Sushi bar, so is a perfect stop off during a scenic drive along the coast. Thanks for the review.

What fun for the kids to feed these wild seals. There are about 6 seals that hand out in the marina (they know they get feed). You can buy food for them in the gift shop at the marina. One of the seals will even spin for you if you spin the food for him.
Just remember these are wild animals, they can jump - don't get too close.

During COVID there is reduced stuff here unless you own a boat. The restaurant is closed except for take-out. Plenty of parking if you just wish to have a place to sit and see the sea. There are picnic tables and some art along the shore.

The views around the Oak Bay Marina are lovely. Lots of boats of course and opulent homes. We stopped here to admire the scenery and have a bite to eat.

While in Victoria visited family, we had lunch at Oak Bay Marina. It was a great recommendation. The service was well paced and not intrusive as we were catching up with family we had not seen in many years. The food was very good and the chef allowed my husband to order from the full sushi menu which isn’t offered at lunch.

The view to the East is amazing, and a nice place to walk by the water.
Large parking lot to stop and close to Oak Bay for restaurants and shopping.

EXPLORE THE WATERS AND ISLANDS OFF VICTORIA AND OAK BAY B.C.Iconic Oak Bay Tour with captain Brian.
Our family had an incredible experience on the amazing Oak Bay tour. Our captain, Brian was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely patient. He was very knowledgeable about the marine life of Oak Bay waters and islands . We booked a family tour w/ kids with Captain Brian, highly recommended by our friends. He was keen on giving detailed explanation for context, and a wonderful operator. I don't know what he could have done better, because the outing was iconic and perfect. We were able to see seals, cormorants, and eagles. And getting close enough to hear their every breath and see them gracefully move through the water.
The boat tour was amazing and I know it made an impact with the kids. This tour is a must!

I like this pull in for getting amazing views of the Salish Sea ( old name Juan de Fuca strait) Lots of parking. Walk the docks, buy a bag of fish bits in the marina shop, walk down the plank and feed the seals up close and personal. Now, i understand why they called them sea dogs. One apha fellow would slap his front fin if we slowed down on fish delivery. Fun for kids of all ages. There is a coffee shop, with lunch and desserts. Above is a fancier restaurant and sushi restaurant. You can walk a sidewalk ring round the parking lot, there's a couple of small beaches down below. One day i saw a whale swiimming the edge of the ring. not an every day occurence, in the distance on a clear day you'll see Mt Baker ( volcano). Lovely spot to see the full moon.
