Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I went here for the first time with a group of 5 women to celebrate my birthday. Graham was great at instructing us how to throw properly and then there were games for us to battle. He had us create 2 teams and it was really fun to compete! The time flew by and I’d definitely do it again!

Tobias was an absolutely amazing host! We had a fantastic time. Great vibes, great beers & great staff members! It was my first time trying Axe Throwing and Tobias showed us the ropes. By the end of the session I ended up in the hall of fame!!! Highly recommend this activity for anyone coming into whistler!

Came here for a work event, all of of us being newbies. The crew at Forged Axe Throwing were awesome. They were safe, informative, patient, fun, energetic and we couldn't have asked for more. Standard throws & trick shots combined with a little friendly competition and the time just flew by. The location also has charcuterie/snack boxes that you can order and is fully licensed. Highly recommend.

Stopped for an hour or so with a family group of 9 and had an absolute ball. Our instructor John, was brilliant and an Aussie which was a bonus. Who ever thought throwing sharpened steel at a wall could be so much fun. Highly recommend a visit.

Excellent indoor activity on a rainy day.
A lot of fun, safety is key and always someone supervising to make sure safety rules are adhered too strictly.
Fun competitions with little twists to enjoy 😊

We weren’t prepared for just how competitive our group would become once we had an axe in our hands and a target in our sights.
This was a really fun hour spent away from the slopes and the crowds of Whistler town. Highly recommended.

We had such a fun time at FAT!! Our instructor Joe was very knowledgeable and we had a ton of fun. He instructed us on form and technique but also engaged us to have games and competitions amongst ourselves! Time flew by. Would definitely recommend!!

My partner and I did this during our stay in whistler and had the best time! I was curious how we would fill an hour with throwing axes but there was a range of games and trick throws and competitions against another couple which made the hour fly by! I was not very good but the staff were really helpful and patient and gave me so much time and assistance to get my throw right! Such great value for money and all the staff were fun, bubbly and stoked with their jobs! We would definitely do this again!

Axe-throwing has been one of our favourite activities whilst visiting Whistler! Both of us arrived at Forge without really knowing what to expect or how to throw the axes, and it turned out to be great fun with the hour totally flying by!

We had a fab time learning how to throw the axe with Bea! We were lucky to arrive when it was very quiet, so it was just the two of us and Bea with the place to ourselves before a couple of others joined in. But, we all had our own 'lane', so could throw as much as we wanted without having to wait in line for others to have their turn.

Bea was really friendly and took us through various moves with the axe and a few trick shots. Loads of fun for the hour, playing some games and it became quite competitive towards the end.

It's totally safe, Bea was good fun and upbeat and it's something we'll do again.

Tip: going in the middle of the day (11 - 2) is quieter and there's more chance of you being able to have a lane to yourself.

Great larks!

Wow La_tiburona! What a fantastic review thank you so much! We're so happy Bee was a fab host and totally brought the fun! Top tip on the time of day to pop by, we are generally quieter in the first few hours of our day but sometimes get big parties in so always recommending booking so not to be disappointed. We can't wait for you to come throw axes with us again sometime soon!
