We walked up from our hotel to do a little star gazing. It's a smaller lake that is completely lined with trees all the way around except for the beach/picnic area where we were. We were here in the spring time, there were mosquitoes around even though it was cold at night. There were also many little frogs swimming around... More

Was there in Jan 2016, This was such a fun afternoon, never done it before, did the loop around Lost Lake. We hired skis at Lost Lake rentals. Very enjoyable in stunning surroundings.

A sunny cold (-10) day, good boots with snow shoes or tracks and off you. A choice of three loops depending on time and a day pass to the park ($10) . The staff at the park entrance were more than helpful. After we had hired snowshoes they realised our foot wear was appropriate so they reversed the transaction. They... More

Lovely small lake that everyone can walk around - even my mid 80’s mother. The road around is wide, graded and the elevation changes are gradual. There are a few benches for rest and a lovely beach area that gets very busy in the summer.

Come walk, snowshoe, cross country ski or bike in summer. Many trails for mountain biking or hiking. Come in summer and swim in crystal clear water or watch for frogs migration from lake to the forest. Usually in August. Experience nature at its best. We have lot of snow this winter X-C skiing is at its best.

Such a beautiful location close to the village. Took some snow shoes for a walk. The staff were over run with people and "under the pump" which was a little disappointing we were hoping to try some cross country skiing but with the lack of assistance we were cautious and opted to just walk. The paths are clearly marked and... More

The 6km of Lost lake cross country ski trails are beautiful, so you can get wild in the woods and have fun enjoying the great outdoors. Our day pass for an adult was $21 kids $12.60 with ski rental being $30. When you are tired there's a cafe, but you can ski half price from 3pm till 8pm at night.
