Loved my time snowboarding here. Wish it could have been for longer. The price for a day ticket is pretty steep now Vale have taken it over.

Whistler Blackcomb is amazing. It has many strengths based primarily on its size which include lots of runs, a big base town, lots of after ski activities, and many hotels and restaurants. The negatives are it is a long drive from Vancouver (about two hours),...More

We have been coming to Whistler for decades: skiing, mountain biking, hiking, bear photography. Great spot. We are up for early season skiing, and it is fantastic! Been skiing here for almost 50 years, and this is the best snow this early in the season...More

Everyone was waiting to see how the ownership by Vail would change the Whistler experience. The transition to new cards has been a disaster. And telephone lines so busy you get a "the number cannot be completed as dialled" YIKES! Truly awful start!

I've skied on three continents an this is easily my favorite resort. The size, variety of terrain, and lower elevation combine to make for great skiing. With so many different mountain faces, you can always find great conditions. When you add the terrific village, it...More

Great mountain wonderful staff. Beautiful snow and safe for all ages. Love the no smoking mountain! Lift lines where pretty quick and food at top was nice after a day of skiing.

We loved wandering around the village and doing some shopping and searching out great restaurants! It's like being in a whole new world. People from all over and a mixture of accents....strangers asking where you are from in such an interesting and friendly manner.

We took the gondola up the mountain just to take a look. Then the scary (exhilarating too) "peak to peak" gondola too. It would of course be unreal in winter for the skiing but we enjoyed it just for the views, fresh air and walking...More

The Creekside base is in the corner of the mountain. It is the furthest point from the blackcomb lifts! You have to take the Creekside gondola and then probably one more chair to get to the blackcomb/whistler base. There is... More
