I go down here at least twice a week. Great place for a fast walk or a leisurely stroll. I go there rain or shine as part of my daily walk. There is always something different to see.

The promenade is beautiful but is often over run with people and there are ridiculous no dog rules that are unnecessary and restricting.

Level walking with wonderful views of snow-capped mountains, the wooden pier[under repair] and the famous White Rock. At this time of year {February] the migrating birds are beginning to arrive on the bay. The water park and area near the museum will soon be finished,...More

I see many comments in the reviews of Promenade (Marine Dr. strip) that say there is not much to do - they are right if you are looking for a theme park or a night club. The strip offers many great places to eat, drink,...More

There is very little to do here, walk along the beach, some touristy stores. A few restaurants. Nice for a day. Very pretty area. Hotel we stayed at (Ocean Promenade) was the best in the area and I would not recommend it.

Myself, my wife and a friend grabbed some ice cream and went for a nice stroll along the promenade. It was late afternoon and wasn't too crowded. Nice area to relax and just stretch your legs. I love trains and was a bit disappointed when...More

I always make a point of making it down to the beach on a sunny hot one of the restaurants and window shop and people gaze. Once they complete the construction this is going to even more beautiful. Enjoy.
