I loved the calm feel of this place, it was very welcoming. I spent too much precious time taking my picture in that booth that superimposes it on Manitoba images such as the bison, polar bear and beluga whale. But it was fun.

Hey Lisa, glad to hear you enjoyed our centre and the use of our Green Screen, it's definitely the most popular attraction here at the centre. If you get the chance, come try our "Heart wall" as well - here you can plan your next trip in Manitoba! Next year, Winnipeg will be hosting the Canada Games.. we hope to... More

The Forks draws people like a magnet and this 'Visitor Info Centre' is a natural 'get started' type of place for new visitors to the city or the province. They have all the information one needs and are friendly and patient to deal with. I strongly recommend visitors to take advantage of this excellent resource.

This was a great place that showcased Manitoba. It now has a desk with brochures and offices where the interesting displays used to be. What a waste, and very disappointing.

Many people enjoyed the exhibits that were in the old space – we were also sad to see them go! However, they were here for a long time, getting quite worn out and didn’t reflect the current range of tourism experiences Manitoba has to offer. As it is true, there are offices in the back, we still do have some... More

As other reviewers have said, this is a helpful place to find brochures on different places and sights around Manitoba but my son and I stopped in because of their advertisement to go on a historical tour of The Forks site. I would highly recommend this tour, whether you live in Winnipeg or are a first time visitor. I believe... More

Thank you for the wonderful feedback, Randall! Parks Canada also shares a spot in the centre and, as they are the ones putting on the tour, I have gotten a member of their staff to respond to your review: "We are pleased you enjoyed Parks Canada’s 6000 Years in 60 Minutes guided historical tour of The Forks National Historic Site....
