If you enjoy memorials, place to go. Great green spaces combined with historical monuments. They have just upgraded around the Vimy Ridge Memorial, and given some TLC to the memorial itself.

Stand on top of the ridge and you can see what a great advantage point it was. The white memorial is very impressive. Then walk or drive down to the visitors centre and go on the guided tour of the tunnels and trenches. Incredible what...More

Nice park on the major street just west of downtown. Memorials in honour of Winnipegers who fought at Vimy Ridge. Good use of green space. A kids play area at the south end with washroom facilities available

Very nice park for kids and people with dogs. Has a beautiful water park. Grounds are very well maintained. Always see families enjoying themselves.

Hi Jessiey, Unfortunately there are no basketball courts in the park. The closest courts that I know are in Gordon Bell High School in Maryland@Broadway. Bye Bye.
