Great place for the view, trails and hiking

We love to go for walks at the nature park. I always take my camera. There is always another stunning picture to take just around the next bend.

The Iriving Nature Park retains much of its beauty in winter even though the leaves are gone. The perimeter walk (Squirrel, Seal, Heron) of about 2.5 hours was brisk and well worth while after a great couple of nights in Saint John. I strongly recommend this place to blow the cobwebs away and lift the spirits.

A great trail for hiking or just ambling. Nice wooded paths along with beachside trails. Worth the trip

The Irving nature park provides visitors with a variety of walking trails or you can drive around the park. The trails very in their length, difficulty and views. Enjoy a walk, jog or stroll. There are Bathrooms available (should nature call) Unwind and take the time to enjoy the peace and beauty.

I've been to Irving Nature Park 3 or 4 times now over the last few years. As an annual visiter to Saint John area, I never miss a trip to this park. A great vista of the Bay of Fundy, wonderful walking trails around a little peninsula. Not too long, not too short. Just right.

You can drive the trail on a well kept dirt road, or you can take walks through the many different trails throughout the woods. Most of the trails offer places to sit and gorgeous views of the ocean as you walk along. Birds, squirrels, foxes, and deer can be seen. Many people go throughout the summer but not often you... Free access, enough parking by the entrance and as well as on the peninsula itself (open until Nov 10 this year). They have really nice graveled path as well as little natural trails side by side, pick the one you like. They have 3 different trails of different lengths or you can combine them which will be approx. 8km in... More

What can I say - breathtaking, beautiful, a bowl full of nature in your hand, we saw our first porcupine in arms length eating and getting ready for winter. Better than seeing them in a Zoo.
