Quiet in the winter, nice place to do a hike. The paths are well-maintained and not difficult for the most part. The park is gorgeous, with many viewpoints. If you love nature, you'll love this park.

A great little city park in Saint John. You can drive around to see the flora and fauna, or hop out of the car to walk the trails. A great little escape right in the city!

Rockwood Park seems nice with 13 lakes, rock monuments for each Canadian Province (monuments made from stone shipped from each Province), beautiful trees, walking trails and rolling hills. But when you are just driving through on a bus loaded with 50 passengers the park seems average. I'm sure this park would be much better if visited individually via car and on foot.

A taxi ride of about 10 minutes is required to reach the park which sprawls over 2000 acres with a large lake and rock formations and fossils dating back a billion years. The parks lookout gives you a great view of St John and the Bay of Funday. Good weather required for this visit.
