Arrived at 1.40pm on Monday 24th September 2018 from England to find it closed. The old 1920 train “395” outside on the rails looked stunning. Oh how I wish I could have seen the history. I am giving it a 3/5 rating for the reason...More

it's a very small displace station, friendly staff, interest to see a old train, and it has a room set up a nice train set, you can see it through the glass.

We enjoyed visiting this museum. This is where we learned the historical memories of the trains of Newfoundland travelling from St-John's to Port aux Basques. The young lady who mad the tour with us was well informed of the past.

Hard to imagine that there used to be active rail in NFLD. Really cool to stop in and get the history. Nice and cheap and fun to walk around for half hour.

I was an informative tour that shows NL use of the rail way systems and train is beautifully maintained and tour guide was Curroius and friendly. Must see event for the summer in corner brook.

Wife "emigrated" from Nfld in 1966 and travelled on the Nfld rail from St John's to Port-Aux-Basque. I'm visiting the cars, she remembered that trip like it was yesterday. We had simply happened to see the Museum, but it gave us great pleasure. Although it...More

A good opportunity to see narrow gauge engines & rolling stock that used to criss-cross Newfoundland. You can get to go inside and see first hand what these vehicles were like when the Newfie Bullet carried freight and passengers in the by-gone years.
