Lovely place for a strool

I love to take my grand daughters here to see the ducks in the two ponds. Also they have a great play area, splash pad and New swimming pool. A must see on a St John's visit.

As you exit your car you find yourself in the midst of hundreds of ducks and pigeons. You actually have to walk through the crowd and they are so aclimatized to people that you can almost touch them. This is a beautiful park with ponds, streams, walking trails, gardens, bush areas and a few monuments. This is a wonderful place... More

Walking in the this park is wonderful. A very scenic place to take pictures or just enjoy the numerous flowers and trees. You can feed the ducks or just sit and watch. A very relaxing place to enjoy. The fall colours are amazing and will make you feel alive.

Recently home on a holiday and went to Bowring Park for the first time in a long time and was very pleasantly surprised. The wildlife, flowers, birdlife, scenery -- just lovely. We walked my nephew's dog there and all dog walkers we met were pleasant and 'cleaned up' after their pets. The 'help-yourself-to-a-doggie-bag' dispenser at the parking lot entrance was... More

This park has plenty of open green space for picnics, sports, hammock and walking. Has a great play area for kids, outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), duck ponds and swans. Lovely manicure grass and easy walking trails. Just gorgeous!

This is a fabulous park with walking paths, waterfalls and quiet areas. There are tributes and memorials to Newfoundlanders there.

We came here specifically to see the caribou monument for the Newfoundland regiment, and we were not disappointed. The park is beautifully maintained, and there are a variety of walking paths.

I have been here many times and it's my go to place fo get my walk in . In the summer the grounds are really beautiful , lots of flower beds and so pretty around the pond. This has been a favorite in St John's for so many years and has lots of history .

We went to see the Caribou Statue and only realized how large the park was once we arrived. A beautiful park with lovely flowerbeds, monuments, ducks to feed, etc. We did not have time to explore the trails or the splash pad and other attractions listed on the map inside the park. Research what the park has to offer before... More

I loved this park. It is quite large with many trails as well as several other things to see. You can see the locally famous ducks, the Beaumont Hamel statue, or even go to the small water park area. Obviously best in the summer around July-August is best.
