Wife and I went up to the lighthouse in horrendus weather. Winds were gusting at over 50mph and we still had a blast. We had no choice, see it that day or miss it entirely.

Beautiful scenic look at the Atlantic Ocean from the most easterly point of land in NA. If you stay long enough, you're bound to see whales.

Showed up on a perfectly clear sunny afternoon to see a huge fog bank roll in. Actually pretty cool until the views were obscured. Pretty cool to be standing on the most Eastern point of North America.

The views are breathtaking to say the least. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. Its worth to stop on the way to petty harbour.

This place is only a 20 minute drive from St.John's. The views and the ocean are beautiful, we really enjoyed hiking up to the lighthouses. We saw many whales and watched the waves crash on the rocks.

Again if you are doing these excursions, wear proper clothing and footwear. The walk to the top is not difficult but it is steep and you want to be comfortable.

He construction is nearing completion just before the 150 winter season in Canada. I have gone up several times this summer hoping that I could show off his historic place to my visiting friends. I will keep you posted.

This is another historical sight in St. Johns that you must see if you are visiting the city. The views are beautiful and we even saw some whales. Learn about the history of St. Johns and visit this sight.
