I am so glad we stopped here. So thought-provoking..... What a wonderful tribute to someone who has made such a difference in his short time on earth. Would highly recommend this stop.

A great tribute to Terry marking the place where he began his quest. Not the easiest to find . . . our GPS said "you have arrived" but it took a few minutes to find the exact spot. By the waterfront (of course) with gorgeous...More

This monument can do no other than move you ! It is artistically beautiful, but the meaning is even deeper. This is where Terry Fox got his container of Atlantic Ocean water which he traveled with.

The statue is powerful. The details about Terry Fox, his life, his struggle, his legacy---are all at the site, and it is all very inspiring.

It was good to see him memorialized having followed his trip. We saw the memorial in Thunder Bay and so admired both he and his Mom for carrying on his dream
