This Territorial park features Louise Falls and Alexandra Falls. Both are worth seeing, and there are viewing platforms at each, and separate parking areas along the highway for each. However there is a very nice, level trail (about 2.6 km each way) along the Hay...More

The falls are spectacular. The campground is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Campsites are fairly open, not very private.

The views are terrific, but more important was the journey taken by reading the signs. It is best to go from Alexandra Falls toward Escarpment/Louise Falls. However, the trail makes sense from both directions. On the trail are some hidden gems such as a quiet...More

After a long day of travelling to the NWT, this stop over just north of the 60th Parallel, we found this camp site to be well laid out, well maintained facilities and powered with pull through sites. Definitely check out the waterfalls.

I stopped while driving through to Yellowknife to check out the area. Alexandria Falls is absolutely beautiful, and the best part was being the only one there the entire time. It was relaxing, refreshing, and awesome to just sit and hear and see nothing but...More
