Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Likely one of the best views in all of YellowknifeLots of stairs to climb, but worth it and at no cost. From the top you can see nearly all of Oldtown and lots of frozen waterways.

Great 360 views of the area, well maintained steps and platforms for your climb. Unfortunately some defacing of signs. A must see in Old Town.

Perfect spot to take great pictures of the city. The lake was frozen and we enjoyed a view of colourful cabins.

This is the place to go! Incredible view, even if they could’ve done a bit more to educate us on bush pilot exploits. Regardless, don’t miss the views!

The monument tells a quick story of the bush pilot's life and what was involved in the development of the area. However, the views from the hill are wonderful, and you will most definitely get to see a float plane land or take off.

A great place to see the sun rise or set, and also a great place to see the aurora. It's completely free to visit. There are some stairs to go up, but it's absolutely worth the climb.
