We took a walk in this park one evening on our way back from a day trip out of Halifax. We had been in the car a long time, and thought a walk would do us good -- and it did! I have to say that I am jealous of this park and wish we had something similar where we... More

Loved this park it was so dog friendly. Well marked plenty of trails for both humans and canines alike. This was our destination because of Shakespeare in the Park. Amazing!!

Mere minutes from the heart of downtown Halifax, this illustrious Park provides have some trails are plenty for hikers, bikers, and others. I thought I was finding the way to a scenic coastal view, but what I really found was the way to inner peace.

Very nice to walk around in, with plenty of shade. Can get to water (and saw some people swim) but not a proper beach. Big, with lots to look at and nice views.

This is a great place to have a nice walk. It took us about 2 hours to walk the circumference, and that was only because we were wandering and stopping at all the memorials and batteries. Beautiful, peaceful park with great views out to the exit of the harbor.
