I love visiting old burying grounds and this did not disappoint. I only wish there had been a map or perhaps a tour provided. We wandered on a lovely October morning and enjoyed the peace and quiet we felt.

You can just walk around this place. I think a guide with history would make it more interesting, but still, it was a great sight.

Enjoyed walking around the cemetery to look at the tombstones. Some were from the 1700s. Very peaceful.

Saga of the sacking of Washington D.C. and interesting gravestones. Not the history we are given in the States. Interesting stop while exploring Halifax.

We stopped here briefly on our way to another site. It is an old cemetery, and fun to walk through to get a sense of history.

Discovered this attraction on a walk. Plaques were helpful in understanding the history. Very clean and well maintained. Headstones are interesting reading. Some are so weather worn there isn't much left to read but that is part of the fascination. So glad a group worked...More
