Overview

More
An entertaining and informative Ghost Walk through Halifax's historic downtown area. (The ONLY Ghost Walk in Halifax which visits a cemetery!) Andy Smith, an experienced tour guide who conducts these tours, also happens to be a professional actor (ACTRA member). Andy also operates the local tour company, Tattle Tours (a separate Trip Advisor listing) which gives lively walking tours and step-on guided tours. Andy's fun Ghost Walk is typically offered Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings, starting at 7:30 p.m. (May through October) weather permitting. Duration: Two hours. $15.00 per person. Children under 13 are half price. Discounts are available to groups of ten or more people. Groups can also arrange a private tour on other mutually convenient days and times.

We were not impressed with the tour. For starters, the group was too big so most of the time you couldn't hear. City buses going by made it even worse. If it's a registered business, cash shouldn't be the only option. $15 is too much...More

This was a very enjoyable informative walking tour. Andy combines history, paranormal events and acting for a fun and informative night. The walk was 2 hours and the time went by very quickly... if you can fit this in I highly recommend it.

Andy was great. It was entertaining and interesting. He was funny and sarcastic and great with the kids. It had everything from War of 1813, Titanic, Halifax Explosion to dead politicians and prostitutes!! What more could you ask for. Would go again.
