My friend is a librarian so we had to stop here on our Halifax trip. The library is ginormous and beautiful with a cafe and rooftop bar on the 5th floor. I could move to Canada for this library!

This place is a MUST see in Halifax. Tour it for free. Walk around the building and see what it's all about. The fact that outside it looks like books stacked on top of each other should tell you how amazing this place is. Inside...More

Lots to do and see here. Beautiful building. Helpful staff. Filled with singles, kids, families all utilizing the services. Wish we had a library like this at home!

As visitor I did not use the building as a library but as a piece of architecture performing an important function it was fascinating to move around, explore, and enjoy.

New museum that does not look like a plain government building. It is just fantastic. Elevators to each floor. A bright sandwich shop with a view and outside seating is on the upper floor. Don't miss the First Nation area that has a good, but...More

Enjoy the architecture of this building. Take the elevator to the top and walk down to each floor. Brilliantly designed. Read a book, surf the Internet, play a video game.
