The park is located on the shores of Lake Simcoe and is within the city of Barrie Ontario. It is easily accessible from both #11 and #400 highways. It has lots of parking and a large playground area sponsored by the city service clubs.

I have taken my nephew to that park a few times and he always has so much fun! The park is clean, no garbage anywhere on the ground which is nice to see

Lots of playground equipment and a nice beach area. Have a picnic, relax and enjoy family time together on a warm day.

Pretty good park, nothing outstanding or spectacular. The view and access to the water is nice and ice cream is close by. Picnic tables are available and there are shady spots. Parking lot is only free to residents.

The beach is clean and there always seems to be something new to do. Festival after festival year long. It's simply a fun day out on a boring day and day of events and entertainment during the many festivals.

This is a very large park, very busy with lots of kids playing here all the time. Proximity to the beach makes it ideally suited for taking a break from swimming. A must if youre a family in thr Barrie area.

As a long term resident of Barrie, growing up within walking distance to the park, I have witnessed it's transformation, which has been slow, exceedingly expensive, and at the end of the day not much different than in the 70's. Approx.3.5 km in length Centennial park provides a nice wrap around Kempenfelt Bay. It comprises of a city dock, marina,... More

Centennial Beach is nice in the summer for swimming but can be very busy. There is a great playground for younger kids. It seems like the beach area has been under construction for a long time and parking is getting worse instead of better which is unfortunate if you have young children

This place has everything...play area, dog walking, beach, picnic areas. A great place to take the kids to swim and play or to bike ride or dog walk
