But what really shines is the bike path all around the bay, and up to orillia even if you want to go that far!

Very nice clean beach. Nice sandy area with life guards. Playground is great for kids. Parking is very limited and can be hard to find a spot on weekend. During the weekend you need to come early to get a nice spot and parking There are lots of tree so you can find shady spots Nice walking trails and resutrants... More

Great place to have a picnic with the kids! There is a playground as well as the beach area with lifeguards. Nice place to go for a walk along the waterside!

Although the park is under construction at present (end of 2016) it is still a beautiful spot to hike, walk, ice skate, or play. There is a well equipped playground for the children and lots of park benches around to relax. It's one of my favorite spots during the summer in Barrie.

Annoyingly overcrowded on hotsummer days. Last time there we had trouble parking and finding a spot on the beach. Hope construction woes will be over next time we visit. Short walk to vibrant downtown.

I can remember back to when the park first opened in '67 with the fumes wafting down from the tannery. My how it has grown over the years into such a fantastic facility. A great example of vision and planning for the future. The fantastic walkway around the Bay anytime of year. A real gem.

we visited with the family last summer. A wonderful place to enjoy the weather with family or friends. Near the bay one can play in the water, stroll among the boats and enjoy Barrie's active community.
