Quaint, picturesque town stratleing the Grand river. 100' church spires in the downtown area, with awesome shops, caffes and shops. No wonder there have been so many movies and TV shows shot here! Literally dozens. Latest being Handmaids Tale, which will be filming season two...More

Came here for a day trip from Toronto. Galt does have some beautiful historic buildings; the library and post office among them. And a walk beside the Grand River is quite nice. But that's about it, really. We came on a sunny, warm Sunday afternoon,...More

I moved here about 2 years ago. A great place to live with lots to offer from the theatre to local pubs to the friendly atmosphere! A great place to raise a family.

This is my beloved home town and it pains me to say that it has fallen apart over the years. The town has some very beautiful historic buildings in its downtown core. Located along the grand river there are several nice walking trails but little...More

To be honest. Not much going on here. The downtown is done, not much to enjoy. Not thanks. Save your time.

Some very nice places to eat, a small but bustling sat farmers market, and some Very good music festivals in the summer. Lots of old churches and architecture. Also many empty storefronts, panhandlers. Parking can be interesting.

Not sure what hotel you are reviewing, but I agree with BirdBrain's comments. Lots of choices locally. Just to add to the list is the Cambridge Hotel.
