Wonderful Memorial

A wonderful tribute to the soldier and author of "In Flanders Fields" with artifacts and plenty of interesting and well detailed information. I recommend if possible that you visit the morning of Nov 11th each year where the nearby school does a Remembrance Day service...More

Educative and Interesting

The house now turned into a gallery with various memorabilia of John McCrae was quite interesting to see. The poem and the story behind it and it's part in the poppy and remembrance day was educative.

A memorable experience...

Tranquil Visit

Superb, tranquil, peaceful, and haven't gone in. Very beautiful on the outside. Very close to a house that feeds you books if you feed them a book. The grab and give library.

where Poppies Grow

amazing history right in our backyard...the reason why we wear poppies. Col John McCrae's house. You can buy poppies in the spring to plant in your garden

Nice with renovations - not very kid friendly

McCrae House

This museum is a wonderful place to visit and especially to bring out of town guests to share the history of McRae House. My husband volunteers for the organization and is always pleased to chat with guests regarding this unique piece of Canadian history.
