Living in Guelph gives us an opportunity to visit this park regularly. In the summer there is a carousel and functional mini train. The city recently upgraded the play structure and it provides play opportunities from toddlers to pre-teens. One could easily spent and afternoon...More

Riverside Park is a pleasant mix of tame and wild. A carousel and little train nestles by the kiddie's play area. In the same vicinity are some lovely picnic areas . If you go along the river though you can find the wild side. Beaver...More

We love going to Riverside and now with the replacement of the old playground it is even better. The carousel and the train are the best for kids. For adults, the garden facing Woolwich is a nice walk and it gets seasonal decoration so drop...More

It is just a pleasant afternoon to take a stroll thru this park. Very quiet and comfortable with easy access

A pleasant setting for families, particularly with young children. However, also most appropriate for adults or mixed groups during the warm weather. Not necessarily a place to visit in the winter time.

Love all the festivals that are at Riverside Park. We ride out bikes to the park and/or walking thru. The park is so large that having any celebration 🎉 is fun with family and friends. You can also rent a pavilion for your family parties.

I love their trails and surroundings. The park is very well kept clean and just built an amazing playground for kids. The only thing I extremely hated is all the geese & duck poop on the walking paths. You can't lift your head while you...More

Beautiful place to go for a walk on a cool Fall day. Connects to other walks in the city. I use it often to get my Fitbit steps in>

The wide open park is good for many uses with connections to trails, playgrounds, ball diamonds, disc golf course and community maintained skating rinks in the winter. The train and merry go round are good for younger kids in the summer months.

They have a very nice, new kids playground that has something to offer for a variety of ages. Very clean. Working restrooms. Just watch out for all the goose poop - geese were everywhere and totally ignored the humans at the park. Huge parking lot.

I would think the park is there for anyone to use . If you need to use the pavilion in the event of inclement weather or as a shelter for serving a meal I would suggest calling the city and reserving it. There may be a... More
